No more dealing with sketchy Marketplace ECM dealers, Potentially?

Just got an email newsletter from Diesel Power Products that caught my eye.

A new remanufacturer for automotive electronic modules out in Greenville, SC : Synapse Auto

They rebuild the circuitry inside instrument clusters, engine computers, fuse boxes and more, utilizing top quality components and employ state of the art techniques to produce results that surpass original manufacturing standards."

Not holding my breath but I'm very interested to see what they bring to the table. The idea of trying to source or repair a working and correct backup computer or electronic control module on marketplace of elsewhere for these trucks at least the older ones is not my idea of a good time.

I sent them an email asking about their services or support for the 3rd generation Dodge Cummins trucks. From their front page it appears they'll be looking support multiple automakers besides the big three domestics with their services.

Thoughts?

I've used these guys several times with excellent results and fast turn around. They DO NOT communicate which is weird but they always take my money and send computers back repaired. In todays climate, you can't ask for much more than that!
