No more Driftwood?

I received a call tonight from a gentleman who will be ordering his new Ram this week and joining us here when it is delivered. In the course of our conversation he mentioned that as of September the Driftwood color was discontinued, according to his dealer. Anyone else heard of this? Seems odd to me, seeing how popular this color is/was.

It's gone. Replaced by a silver, but actually a lot different color.

I had to have the driftwood center band repainted on the left front fender after a battery acid leak. The body man could not get the paint, so he had to mix his own. He did one heck of a great job. Looks like it did before the damage. Sorry to see the color go, it was like no other color.

I must say it is the nicest color i can remember for any vehicle. Guess it will make mine that much more special

I guess I'm one of the rare ones, then, that hated the Driftwood color. Sorry, I just found it to be a very uninteresting color. I don't like any cars that come in a color similar to it -- the metallic beige (or metallic dirt as I call it) color.

I have the new silver and like it, though I still wish I could have gotten my first choice -- good ole WHITE.
