Put my 2006 in the garage to work on the A/C. Fixed the A/C but when I tried to move it out of the garage it won't go into gear. No previous history. 175,000 miles. Automatic transmission. It grinds when I put it into park. It won't do anything in any gear. First, second, Drive or reverse. The air filter box is still not installed so the plug for that is not connected. Have two codes, p0107 and p0073.

Codes are IAT sensor related, too high and too low, so makes sense if it's unplugged.

P0107-INLET AIR TEMP SENSOR VOLTAGE TOO LOW

P0073-INLET AIR TEMP SENSOR VOLTAGE TOO HIGH

You guys are fantastic. Thanks for the help. I did not mention I had also replaced the linkage for the transfer box. It somehow fell off and disappeared. I guess I need to do some more adjusting.

About 5 min for a point him in the right direction answer, well done Timd32 and John.
Stuff happens for sure....

I know I'm going to maybe need the help when I reassemble my 2nd Gen, transfercase linkage and things been apart so long, no clue if I can just luck out and figure it out. Will see. There is a big show in Oct that if I get my act together might be able to reassemble and maybe show and sell the thing. Rather then it sits in the garage.

I took tech calls, a lot of them while at work. SEVERAL times, yeah we installed your clutch all went perfectly but the blankety blank thing won't move the truck.

Lot's of listening goes into a good successful tech call rather than a lot of talking. Uh huh, you did say its an older 4X4 right?

Can you check the transfer case lever and see it you bumped it into N during surgery?

Hey Louie, did you check the transfer case is it in N? CLICK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good job guys.
