No OBD II signal for RGNfilter or the RGNfilter trg numbers on my Edge Insight, instead of a number, getting “N/A” for both. The trigger number of 5.9 (for NOx) is what normally is indicated, but as of yesterday just says “N/A”. Will unplug the Edge Insight, and plug in a diagnostic tool to verify there is no signal, but pretty sure the Edge unit is fine.
Crawled underneath vehicle, inspected the exhaust system, all lines in/out look okay.
Any input as to where to start?

soo....., hooked up a snapon diagnostic tool, and yes it it reads the two signals just fine, looks like a call to Edge is in order.

Called Edge this morning, 10min wait for customer service. Problem possibly the unit itself or its custom OBD II cable that reaches up to the pillar mount, no repair service available on the unit, or even a replacement custom OBD II cable. They did offer a 40% discount on a new Insight CS and a new pillar mount. Not happy as I really like my old unit, guess I'll look elsewhere on the internet, there may be another digital gauge display mfr out there......? or a used Insight like mine on ebay.

I'm a little confused on the custom obd cable bit. Did you have one made or did they sell a custom one for your pillar installation?
My CTS cable that came in the box has plenty of cable to go all the way up to a pillar mount. I have the dash pod and have a wrap or two of cable stored inside the side dash panel.
Don't they sell replacement cables?
Did you do a continuity check on the cable wires to see if there's a bad one or bad contact?

Edge supplied a custom one for the pillar install back in 2009, and no they don’t sell a replacement cable for my model Edge Insight (the original design), haven’t done a continuity check yet on the cable wires/contacts, but that’s next. Had to drive about 200miles today pulling a stock trailer, and voila, within the first 30minutes of driving this morning the N/A’s disappeared and actual, believable numbers reappeared, and a successful NOx regeneration occurred. Won’t have time to troubleshoot the cable/connectors for continuity for a few days, but we’ll get it done. Thanks for the response!

If it turns out to be the cable then there's 4 new obd cables for the CTS/CS on eBay right now. You'll have to measure the length you need and contact them to see if they're long enough and/or there's 2 listings for 3ft extension cables on eBay too.
Hopefully it's not the unit itself.

Good idea, thanks. Edge told me the connector on the Insight end is different on the CTS/CS units, but need to verify, and may be possible to swap-em out.
