Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I started my truck today with my remote start and after about 5 min or so the engine started to tick a little. I didn't think much about it so i loaded my kids, wife and dog and jumped in. I immidatly noticed the check guages light on and realized i had no oil pressure. At about the same time I sounded like heaven had just collided with hell and my engine started knocking. I shut the truck of, prayed for a minute and restarted. the knock was there for a minute then went away. I limped the truck to my shop, with oil pressure reading the whole time and no real noises. I shut the truck off to unlock the door, came out restarted, it knocked, then locked uo. I know a short block is in my future, soon, but has anyone had a problem with the oil pumps on the 5. 9HO?
