I have a post on 911, but haven't had much help. Can some one tell me where to go from here? My truck just falls on its face after 2000 rpm. It cuts out, stumbles, and smokes some too. After 60mph, I can have it floored and it takes a good five miles to get it past 70 mph. The only obd code I can get out of it is a po 382 intake heater. I don't think it is related. the lift pump is brand new, the fuel filter is about two weeks old. I am just at a loss. Does anyone have an Idea, Injectors maybe? anything???:{

I know you said you had recently changed the fuel filter but that could still be the problem, when did you fuel up last? You can check the after filter pressure if you have a gauge, it would be the plug nearest the center of the fuel filter. Might at least pull the filter and inspect it. bg

Abe, where have you been buying fuel and what color is the smoke?

I wouldn't even ask but I noticed that you are in my area. I recently had a problem with fuel I purchased at an SA station down here on the south side of the cities. Low power, lots of blue smoke, dead pedal, but only intermittently. Fuel pressure was between 12 and 15 PSI all the time. Once I bought fuel someplace else the problem disappeared. Strange, I know, but since changing my fuel source she hasn't missed a beat. Easy thing to check / rule out, and it doesn't cost anything since you have to buy fuel sooner or later anyway.
