A friend has a 24V that only looses power only while going down hill. It happens when he's off the pedal when the truck is coasting down a steep area, and when he steps back on it, no power. Any ideas??

Bad fuel pressure, return leak.

I just replaced a new LP with my 83k mile spare. Symptoms were hard start and bad throttle acceleration on soft start. Mike

mine did something similar when when the injector pump was trying to quit on me. check for codes and if an 0216 shows up plan on a new vp44

no power after coasting

I have the same exact problem. As long as I maintain boost the truck is fine. If I coast or slow down sometimes I loose ability to make boost or have much power at all. The only way I can make the truck go back to normal is to downshift hard and it brings my boost right back and runs normally. Any help anyone can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks
