No power and another Code P0069

Alright guys last night i was towing my trailer and all of a sudden i lost most of my power and then the check engine light came on. I checked and i saw this code P0069, can anyone tell me what code this one is. I only had enough power to do about 50 on the highway and even slower when it came to the hills. It almost seemed like something was restricking my fuel or boost or something it was really strange, thanks for you help. corey

Sounds like it's in limp mode

Sorry I can;t help more. i don't have my 3d Gen (03 though) service manual. it sounds like the ECM has gone into the limp mode. On the 2d gen, this is due to loss of crankshft position sensor signal or it could be the loss of another sensor signal.



Won't help for this, but I recommend you buy factory service manual.

Corey - My 04. 5 has done this three times now, but only when I have the BullyDog Downloader with the Tow program loaded. Twice while driving, and once on start up.



One time it cleared by pulling over and restarting, and the other times I have had to clear the code with the Power Pup Downloader. The Bullydog Outlook will not clear the code.



Rail Pressure is normal, it just defuels severely.



It has never happened with the EZ or stock.



Code P0069 is MAP Manifold Absolute Pressure Correllation.

thanks, DIESELMAN, that sounds like what my truck is doing, it acts likes it wants to go but is not getting enough fuel. I am testing a chip and this sounds like another problem with it, if anyone else has an opinon let me know thanks.
