Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) No power from Ez on '01 ETC

Just installed a Ez on a '01 ETC and it has no power, there is smoke but no power. Checked intercooler hoses and there is no codes, I have installed several so there isn't a problem with the install. Put the same Ez on another bone stock '01 and you couldn't slap the smile off the drivers face, so it works fine but not on that one truck. Also the driver reported a signifigant loss in fuel milege from 14. 5 towing to 10. 5 towing the same rig. Checked Lp it is at 12psi at idle, intercooler boots (tightened them) connections, Ez, and codes, but still no extra power and worse milege any thoughts the boost elbow and a AFE filter were installed with no real change. Maybe a bad mapp but wouldn't that throw a code, what about apps could it need to be reset, I am going to pressureize the intercooler system to check for any other boost leaks, but man I am spending alota time chasing my tail here any thoughts?

Well since it works on another truck I would say its the MAP sensor... could you swap map sensors with the other truck you tired it on??

No, probubly not possible, don't you think it would set a code? If it was the mapp sensor that is. The mapp is what I suspect also but without some proof kinda hard to get owner to replace. Thanks JR2, any other suggestions would be appreciated.
