Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Im looking at a 2001 short bed 2500. While on a test drive I noticed so problems.
The truck feels like the turbo cuts out. It makes great power and as soon as it shifts 2nd it feels like the tubo is no longer doin its job. Their is no gauge but Its straight piped so you can clearly hear the turbo spool. It still goes through the gear fine and the transmission does not slip either.
I was thinking that the wastegate was getting stuck open during the shift from 1st to 2nd.
If I let off and get back into it its fine. I want this truck bad so any help would be great
