2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission No Power Mirror switch, has Heat Tow Mirrors

I bought my truck used and it has 3rd Gen electric heated tow mirrors, but does not have the Power Mirrors Control Switch in the cab. Are all trucks wired for power mirrors. Do I just need to buy the $60 Power Mirror Control Switch?

The OEM third-generation towing mirrors don't fit on second-generation Rams. Have you actually seen the wires exiting the bases of the mirrors?



The OEM third-generation towing mirrors (power or non-power) look a lot like the OEM second-generation towing mirrors (non-power only) . They are different.

if it has the heat symbol on the glass it is a third gen mirror. the mirrors can be retrofitted to the second gens. are the wires in the mirrors hooked up to the truck harnesses? if they are, then all you have to do is buy the switch AND the HVAC panel. The heat switch is in the HVAC panel.
