Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) No power steering

No power steering on our 95 3500. We replaced the pump with a napa rebuilt. nothing. took off vp it is ok we have vaccume. no broken shaft. replaced gear box,nothing. which way does the spring and plunger go in? We tryed both ways. suppose we got a bad rebuilt pump? Im getting tired of taking this thing off.

Are you sure got the air bled out? Try filling the reservoir up, raise the front end up, then with the engine turned off, turn the wheel tight from lock to lock about 30 times. Wait about 5 minutes and do it again then start it up and try it. This is the best method I have found.

As pictured above in item one make sure the o-ring is not in the wrong groove.

I have the plunger setup right. Ill try bleeding it again. there just isnt any assist at all. Thanks for your info.

The o ring is in the groove closest to the hex nut. I had the vp and ps off as a unit. everything turns. When I turn the wheel lock to lock with the engine off or on it pushes to oil out the fill tube below the stick reading. it just seems like the ps pump is not making pressure. im about ready to get another ps pump

Probably a bad pump then. Should not be that hard to bleed.
