Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) No power then power

Just got back from a 3500 mile trip. I'm the original owner of 2002 3/4 ton 6speed trans. Truck has 60,000 miles. I have always watched my lift pump pressure and at 40,000 I installed the Fass direct Dodge replacement pump on the frame. At 500 miles into trip in 6th gear getting ready to shift into 5th the truck bucked and wouldn't pull. I shifted into 5th and truck did the same thing at 50 to 55 mph. The truck did the same thing several times in the trip. Sometimes in 4th,5th' and 6th gears if you kept your foot on the throttle the truck would come alive again. I have 15psi on lift pump all the time. Thinking it might be the APPS going out or mabe the wastegate on the turbo. Any help would be good.
