No power to fuel shut off relay

When do you need head studs?

Truck runs if I manually work relay with key on, then try to start or disconnect relay linkage and pop hood to push down the lever to kill it. There is no power on the big red wire to the relay. Where does the power feed for that wire come from?

Start here:
Interesting thread but again, I ask for the power source that supplies the power to the relay. This is not my first trip to the circus in the 22 years I've had this but it IS the first time the wire TO the relay from the power source has been dead. Relay and solenoid work fine when test jumped from the battery. I see in your link mention of a fusable link. There are 2 on mine and both go to the grid heater solenoids. The 40 amp fuses in the power distribution box are fine. I SERIOUSLY doubt the issue is where they thread wandered to a bad ignition switch since the burned connector as shown in the thread are 22 gauge wire and hardly enough to activate the solenoid. d
