Need help from electrical gurus. After installing and testing my new driver's side CIPA mirror, I apparently pinched the wire on the passenger side mirror when I tightened it down. When I selected the right mirror and tried to adjust it, the radio quit and I lost power to the mirrors. I can't find any blown fuses. The book says the mirrors share power with the door locks, but they are working. Any ideas where I lost power?
Just in-I checked out the fuses this morning in the dark before work. At lunch I reread the manual which took me to the Ignition Off Draw (IOD) fuse in the #17 fuse cavity. It had a yellow plastic gizmo on it that prevented it from being removed. I pulled the gizmo off, checked the fuse, and found it blown. The new CIPA mirrors and radio are up and running. The mirrors are way cool.
