no power

I start the engine ,put it drive (not touching the accelaratorl pedal) and try to accelarate and nothing happens,engine does not rev,transmission does not engage. turn off key,restart and everything works fine. HELP??????

Any codes? Check engine light? What year/config is your truck? Yous may want to remove pos/neg terminals from your batteries for five minutes and reconnect... this will reset computer.
