Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) no smoke?

How much smoke should i be getting with just the star wheel turned all the way? I was hoping for a nice cloud upon takeoff and to get the turbo going sooner. As far as I know my 97 is bone stock, but the pump looks like it is a fresh pump(new or reman). It only hazes in the upper rpms. Should I be blowing more smoke? It did make it just a tad more responsive. Stock air filter is new. When I get time I'm gonna change the fuel filter, slide the plate... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... .

Ok, I have been watching and it barely smokes, unlike my 95 160 pump with "fuel turn"-thats all the previous owner could tell me. It had a stock plate and everything else.



I want to grind a 0 plate but it will prob be too much for the stock clutch. Can I slide a 0 plate all the way back and add a gsk and make it on the stock clutch? I'm guessing that I will need to grind a 10 and wait till the clutch fund is ready.
