I put this in the 911 forum, but it's really not a 911 deal, it's just very annoying in a brand new truck:

Just picked up my new '06 Quad Cab 4x4 SWB and have no speed control. When I hit the on-off button on the wheel, there's no "Cruise" light on the dash or anything. It's dead. Any ideas where I can start looking to fix this? I tried looking for a fuse in the power block in front of the driver's side battery, but couldn't find anything.

Thanks.

I just returned home from my dealer - with a new silver truck.

I took the truck in this morning and, after the service advisor told me, "It will be two weeks before we can even LOOK at it," I went to the General Manager and she hooked me up with the Service Manager. He is a very good guy and hooked a scan tool up. He told me there were a number of things wrong and that it would mean disassembly of the dash and removal of the column. I reported this to the GM and she immediately backed me out of that truck and gave me another, identical (except for color) truck that works fine so far.

I'm quite happy.

:D

The dealership sales department and service manager are great. The service department, unfortunately, is pretty sad. I'm moving away in a few weeks so will have another dealership to deal with regarding service issues.
