well we are just having the same problem with one of my buddies trucks. He has a 99 24 valve and we tried to change the filter on the truck today. Now we have preassure from the canister to the beginning of the injection pump but none from the injection pump to the injectors or lines. We replaced the lift pump also thinking that it could be the problem seeing as how there is 150000 miles on the truck and it was the original pump. We did this because the lift pump was not able to purge the system well enough due to a lack of preassure. Now with the new lift pump we have excelent preassure to the canister and the injection pump but none after that. Please help.

Crack open some of the injector lines at the injectors . Then see if you have some high pressure squirting fuel.

Thanks for the imputt but we do not have any fuel passed the vp injector pump, as stated in my originall post

do the key trick to prime it then as stated above crack one or two fuel lines at the heads and crank it over a bit until you get fuel seeping out the lines you cracked open.



tighten them up, do the prime trick again and it should fire (after serveral attempts). crank it and then let it prime before cranking again.



they take a while to fire after losing prime sometimes. you are trying to compress air and until you either crank it all out (good luck) or bleed some by cracking the lines it will not fire easily.
