Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) No start when warm

A guy called me this afternnon that has a 99 24valve. He says the truck starts fine when it is coldand has sat overnight, but he said once it gets watm it does not want to restart. He said it will just crank and crank then eventually it may start????? Thanks for the help travis 859-512-8048

Very likely injection pump is failing,try pouring large amounts of cool water on pump to confirm.

The early ISB's have a habit of not throwing codes when the VP-44 eats itself...



I'd still like to know if the lift pump is working or not...
