So I’m down with P2121 and a bucking throttle, and I’m searching for a new TPS/ APPS. They seem to be impossible to get, Genos and Rock Auto has em on backorder. Anyone have another source?
TIA!

Yesterday I was able to plug in the DRB and swept signals 1 and 2, and they were pretty solid, even though I’m not able to graph with a scope. Unfortunately you can’t see idle validation signal, which is what this code is based on.

John, I tried for 30 minutes to call Summit to verify stock on the APPS, and they were busy on 5 attempts. Gotta admit, I haven’t had that problem in quite a while!

This morning I went in the wheel well to poke around, and I’m thinking that I don’t like 2 wires near the APPS plug. So I’ve decided to get the Timbo harness from Geno’s and do that first.

Hey Ozy, It's been perfect. That harness did the trick, but my APPS is under the battery and that harness is a known issue, hence the special patch.
Do you have a symptom? Dead pedal?

Autoenginuity - Alfa doesn't work on our trucks. Yes i can swipe it. Will try that tomorrow morning.

I've got the TIMBO APPS already in my parts box, i think i install it tomorrow.
Just wanted to be sure that your 2121 is definitely gone.

Just to finish here.
I went with the TPS from Autozone (Wells) that is contactless and should last, also with Lifetime Warranty.
I left the TIMBO in my boonie box.

Works as disered, installation was straight forward, after the relearn of the ECM everything was fine, all Codes are gone.
And at least i think the Throttle is smoother and less sensitive* then before.

*in a good way less sensitive, driving rough off road it is sometimes hard to keep the foot steady on the throttle, this APPS seems to filter out such short bumps from the foot.
