No trailer inspection in NJ?

Huh? I called DMV this AM to get the 411 on this, and she said 'They don't have motors, they don't get inspected. If they have inspections in VA where I bought the trailer, how could they not have them in NJ?



(Trying to find out if Budd wheels are legal) I guess I'll know for sure when I go get the thing titled, but...

No inspection on trailers.

I know that when I owned my tractor trailer, you were subject to roadside inspection, but since youre not commercial, I dont think that applies.
