No truck in system??!!

When i ordered my pickup, it was almost 2 weeks before they gave me the order confirmation and ship date. Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear. not sure if it was my dealer or DC that was dragging their heels. Phil

That happened to me while I was waiting for my truck to be delivered. I was several weeks into the gestation period, calling for status every Friday before lunch. Everything was moving smoothly, then I called one Friday and the person on the other end could not find my truck. I don't know what happened, but my initial truck was being built in STL, the second truck was built in Mexico! It took 9 1/2 weeks total to get my truck.

I called DC today to check on the status of my truck. I only had the VON which was given to me when I ordered the truck about a week ago (4/14). The representative told me that the computer showed no record of my truck on file. My dealer told me that he had the serial #, but no ship date. What's the deal? Has anyone else had such a problem? Thanks guys
