I checked the fuses and found that one was bad "I believe the brake lights". Replaceing it did not fix it, or cause it to burn again. I still have neither turn signal or brake lights. Does this sound like it could be a turn signal switch, or some other mystery problem? I need to get this fixed fast!

Thanks fellas.

Check power at the stop light switch. Should have one, don't remember what color, that is hot all time. Pressing the pedal should energize another that goes to the signal or multifunction switch. If so, then the mf switch could be your problem. I have replaces several of these.

Thanks for your help.

It turned out being the emergency flasher switch. It was in the on position and burned out. When it went out in the on position, it took out the brakes and signals as one would expect with it working normally. Yeah!

Take care
