Last week my turn signals quit working, but only for a short time. Since then they have quit working a couple times, but they always come back. Today, I went to hit the left turn signal and the right one came on. I tried the right one, and the right one came on. The only thing I can figure is the solenoid type thing that controls the blinkers, but I can't find it. I didn't see it listed on the lid of the fuse box. Any ideas?

Jeff, this happened to me, the left rear bulb holder had burned out, replaced it, and no problem. Funny thing was, the right brake light went out, then it was the left, then both, CRAZY. My Lamp Out was flashing and dinging everytime I used either signal. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the responses. I'll check the junction box. I have a bunch of stereo equipment tucked up behind the knee bolster and something may have bumped the box. I don't have the lamp out indicator on, but who knows. I'll check all those too.

testraub, you might have hit it on the head with the loose junction box. I checked mine and got nearly a full turn out of the bolt. Since, the turn signals have worked fine and I don't have this annoying squeak under the dash anymore. Thanks.

I spoke too soon. They quit again on my way home from work, but it may be in the column. I hit the right signal and pounded on the column and it came on. I quess I pull the column apart and take a look for something loose.
