The other day when driving I noticed that my turn signals both left and right when turned on would blink real fast, then slow way down and then fast again. Now neither turn signals works (accept the flashers), I checked the fuses and all is good, bulbs are all brand new. Not sure where to go from here. I need to get this fixed asap since I use my truck daily for towing my trailer. Any suggestions as to what else I need to check

double or triple check the bulbs. check you grounds next. if you still don't have any power, trace it the wiring to the connector behind the left front tire. i've redone a lot of those connections because they were full of corrosion.

It sounds to me like your flasher is worn out. There are two of them in the fuse panel, left side of dash. They are round, about the size of a 50 cent piece, and might be blue or silver. One is for the turn signals, the other for the 4 ways. Swap them out(pull straight out to remove). If the turn signals work and the 4 ways don't you know which one is bad.

I would check the turn signal flasher first. The turn signal and 4 way are separate units. Sounds like the turn signal's thermal unit quit.

Thanks guys it was a bad flasher. I decided to change both the turn signal and 4 way flasher units just to be safe. I'm glad it was an easy fix
