No wonder 2wd front ends wear fast

Just drove my truck on the Cat Scales and front axle came in at 3,400 lbs. Truck empty with full tank of fuel and me standing on steer axle pad outside the truck reaching for the button. Only 600 lbs from the 4,000 max while empty!!!!

Rear axle was 2,180 and total gross was 5,580.

The weight on the front axle on my W250 is 3800 lbs.
