I just changed my fuel filter and when I primed the pump by cycling the key it seems like the pump never stops. Truck will run but it seems like the pump is making a noise like air flowing that does not stop. Removed filter again and reservoir was full. It has been cold around here forgot what my truck sounds like:) Maybe it is just normal. Want to make sure before I ruin something.

Thanks

Kevin

I think you're good as long as it's pumping fuel at a reasonable volume/pressure. There may be residual air in the system that may take some time for the system to bleed out. Are you seeing any performance issues? Any rough running, or anything else that might indicate a lack of fuel getting to the CP3?

No all seems fine. Runs ok just don't remember the hissing noise. Seems to be there when truck is running. Started just fine. Like I said I just don't remember hearing that noise before. Like anything can be herd when the Cummins is rumbling:D
