Noise coming from behind or against the firewall. It started two or three weeks ago and it is getting louder.

It is coming from behind the glove box. It sounds like a rattle and it can be heard when you get around 50 mph. I have shifted out of gear and you can stilll hear the rattle. It could be coming from the firewall but you can't see because of all the stuff. It about to drive me crazy.

HELP!!!!

Andy

Is this when your ventilation fan is on or off? If it's when it's on, you probably have a leave stuck in there and it will eventually get spit out.

My 98,, D2500 same...

Well what I know about it, there is a water valve for the heater back there and at differant engine speeds and temp, it will make a nasty noise. Dodge had a recall on that years ago. . I did not take it in at that time and kick myself later. .

Sodbust.
