Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) noise filter problem?

I've just installed a trans noise filter, the truck shifts fine while just driving around but when I go WOT the truck will not upshift from 1st to 2nd without letting off the throttle, anyone heard of this or know the fix?

Did you install a noise filter or a voltage regulator?

A noise filter, it taps into the PCM /orange with blue stripe wire coming out of the harness. It helps with the hunting problem of the overdrive.

If it is wired correctly it is not related. Check your gov pressure voltage

Is the trans stock? Check pressures, TV adjustment and maybe the band adjustment also.
