Noise from turbo area KOEO sounds like motor actuator moving and bad gears.

2007 Mega Cab 6. 7

To start it just started make this noise last week, just turn the key on and you will here the turbo acturator start moving. Sounds terrible it was cold when I heard it, was waiting for the heat grids to warm up when I heard it. I been looking for info if someone has had the same problem.

It has 87k on it, and runs great. .

Yes no problem exhaust brake is functioning like it should, going to talk to OR Fuel Injection today. .

Ok I have more info, have a code U010C Lost of communication with the turbo actuator. I believe the acturator is moving back and forth, it isn't sending a signal to ECM so it is hunting. I will do testing on Wedsday when I have some time to work on it. .

You might need to just get your actuator re calibrated at the dealer. But in all honesty start saving your pennies for a fixed vein turbo these 351 vgt's are garbage!!!
