Need info on what seems to be front end noise. Does at times and at times dosen'nt. More slow speed like in a parking lot and braking like something shifting back and forth. Seems more drivers side. It's a klop/pop. If it doing it you can brake lightly and let off and on and make it klop/pop kop/pop. Kinda been looking for it for a while and have seen nothing obvious. Can leave house and all will be quiet for 9/10 miles of driving and then faintly can hear it like at stop lights and then gets more obvious. Seems damp or humid out its kinda gone. Other times may do it from get go. Lots more obvious in truck can't hear it standing next to it while someone duplicates it in driveway. 1993 w250 4x4 automatic

Do you have a borgeson steering shaft? I had a clunking noise coming from my driver's side front. It was doing similar things to what you describe. Wasn't too loud, but very annoying. The mechanic who installed it (not me) had adjusted the shaft too long so it jammed the slip spline up all the way. When the body flexed under braking it would push up the shaft and bang the steering column around. Finally found the problem, took out the shaft, beat it with a hammer till it was about 1-1/2" shorter and reinstalled. No more clunking and banging. Of course, you may have a totally different problem. Just my $0. 02.

No,totaly stock and its under truck more like in left front thou wife says can hear it well also. Dosen't to turning steering back and front, totaly when braking like when front nose dives. Wont do on a speed breaker. Truck is so firm can't rock front up and down like a car or 1500 type truck. Thanks for info anyway
