Noise

Recently a noise that sounds somewhere between a creaking door and a rattle is happening somewhere in my passenger side dashboard.

It happens when: I open either of the front doors. Start the engine. Start moving. Start the heater. It eventually goes away but it still quite odd.

Everything is operating as normal.

Anyone else experience this? What else is located on the passenger side dash area?

Likely one of HVAC doors. Mine made a similar noise before my first blend door failed.

Difficult to replace?

Time consuming, yes. Difficult, not really. There are several different methods described on this forum. Do a search on "Blend Door" or "HVAC Door" replacement and there should be a few very detailed threads with pictures describing the process. Also search "Heater Treater". http://www.heatertreater.net/

On mine, we disassembled the dash and replaced the doors with Mopar doors. Others have used the method described on the heater site with great success.
