Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
After taking the cup holders and floor console and lower shifter boot out of my 99 5spd for my CB install I now have alot of engine noise coming from the console area. 
I'm pretty sure it's the lower shifter boot not seating properly but I wasn't sure of what kind of sealer to use on the gasket of the boot. 
Also was wondering if there is anything else one could do to keep this area a little quiter.
