anybody notice the motor getting louder with the miles. i got 19k on mine and its alot louder than it was when i bought it new. Is this just the motor breaking in or could be due to the fact i have the perfomance stuff on there?

I think a little of both. Mine is also a bit louder than when new. I'm right at 40k started modding at 17k, the change in muffler made some difference. I really don't know but maybe the timing advance of my box does also. I sort of like more "dieselish" in sound, and my milage is better than ever and so is power.



I've seen a few posts on here about 600s getting louder with time but dont recall any definitive answers as to why.

Mine is also way louder than new. Could be the chip but it is not all that far of a second gen.
