I have the new Optix Di-pricol gauge and was wondering if they all make noise when boost levels rise, kinda like it rattles?

You might want to make sure you have some slack in the tubing... ... ... ... .

What do you mean slack in the tubing? Where at?

When i get to about 20 psi of boost it gets a rattle nosie to it, Its not quite and smooth like the pyro is..... Would that have anything to do with it being a mechical gauge?

What should i do?

I never get any rattling in my boost gauge installs,I do not make the tube an exact fit but leave plenty of extra length and never stretch it tight in any run

Oh i have PLENTY of excess tubing coiled up under the dash..... Its the gauge itself that rattles... ..... You can watch the needle on the gauge vibrate when its between 20 and 30 psi..... and if you have the radio off and it quite in the cab you can hear it... .

Mine rattles when the boost goes above 25psi. I think it is a leak in the connection at the guage. I have not checked it yet, but I plan on pulling the mount and adding a inch pounds to the nut. I know it's not the line vibrating... I checked that already. Oh yea, it's an Optix by DiPricol also.
