Nomex Honeycomb Radiator protector

I was wondering if installing one of these would help cut down on the damage that road debris does to our radiators on the highway? Actually, I'm sure it would but how would this affect the efficiency of the radiator? Anyone have any experience with these?

I've been using the Kilby Guard. IMO the biggest problem is people leaning into the AC condensor.
