Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) non electriv bov question

if this makes sense is it possible instead of using a electric bov, but get a bov and use drive pressure to control it. adjusting the springs in the bov. I have seen this topic brought up and a few members here and on Comp, where making one to try?
