Non- member access?

Since I'm a member I don't know about this, but does a non-member have access to your profile? How about when the new system comes online?

THIS reply took a user name and Password. It doesn't take me a user name and password to access the profiles.

I'm betting non-members can get to the profile without user name and password also.
