I looked on the FAQ and didn't see anything, so sorry if this has been a repetitive question.

I'm currently saving for some guages, so in the mean time, I thought I would buy a FP guage(direct mount to schrader valve) to check my LP.

Question 1. Can the FP check guage be left on the VP, or is it just a check and remove type thing, and does it matter whether you connect it while idling, or shut down?

Question 2. What FP reading tells me my LP is going or gone?

Question 3. Any ball park on how much a LP will cost?

Thanks in advance

Larry

LP woes!!

Question 1. I personally leave my FP gauge on my truck. I have "plumbed" mine in there on top of the fuel filter canister. I do not have any adverse affects from it yet. I am guessing that it is fine.

Question 2. I would definately replace my lift pump if your pressure is 10lbs or less at idle.

Question 3. I believe my last LP cost me in the ball park of $180, I would say as with everything else, they are a bit more than that now.

Welcome to the club, enjoy!!!
