At Ken Imler Diesel Performance in Sac, Ca. from 0800 on cost is $75. 00 and includes 3 runs plus 1 1/4 mile run on Ken's Mustang dyno, and also includes lunch and possibly a trophy if you make it in the top 3. Kens # is 916-920-3775 and he is online at www.imlerdiesel.com

I was also wondering if anyone ws interested in having breakfast before heading to Ken's, it would be early around 0700 somewhere in Sac. If your interested I'm open to suggestions. LMK Jeff

P. S. I HEARD  that there would be some HOT :-laf Maxi-pads there, I may not have what it takes to show them up, but I hope to see a few CUMMINS that will. Maybe even a 1st Gen, hint, hint, Ron, would love to see that rig weather it's on the rollers or not.

Jeff I will make every attempt to be at Kens on the 30th. I really would like to do the breakfast also. I will get with some of the guys from up here and see if they are interested also.

Not too many restaurants near Imlers, may I suggest we meet at

BROOKFIELDS RESTAUARNT

4343 MADISON AVE

It is just like the BRADSHAWS that we have eaten at before when we went to SAC RACEWAY.

BROOKFIELDS is very easy to find, it is at the NW intersection of I-80 and Madison Ave, has good food, and is only about 10 minutes from Imlers.

Directions:

From west of Sacramento:

Take I80 towards Reno, Madison AVE is where I80 and Bus80 come together, exit on Madison, go west across the Fwy and the restaurant is on your right.

From south of Sacramento:

Take SR99 or I5 north to I80, follow to Madison Ave... ...

From the restaurant to Imlers:

turn right out of the parking lot and head west on Madison Ave, keep heading west 5. 5 miles (Madison Ave becomes Roseville Road, keep parallel to the railroad tracks, Roseville Road becomes Auburn Blvd, keep to the right and Imlers will be on your right as you come under the El Camino Ave overpass.

Brookfields opens at 0630.

they also have a separate meeting room as well

just my suggestion

Think I got 22nd on the list. Oo.

Breakfast sounds goooooood.

Forrest, first it'll be good to see you again and this time get to see you run. Do you mean that Ken has already got 22 spots reserved to dyno  ? Have a safe trip down and we'll see you at breakfast. Jeff

I will call Brookfields tomorrow and see if we can reserve the meeting room from 0630 to 0800 on Sat 30 October.

Hopefully Ken Imler will post a flyer on his site as well, as I have a diesel newbie who just bought a mint 95 2wd 5. 9 with 55k miles, this guy runs his gassers at Sears Point, bought the truck to tow his race cars.

He will be driving over from the Napa area, maybe I can convince him to get on the rollers and have him give up gassers in favor of #2... .

He already is in awe of the fire-breathing 6. 9 :D :D :D

wish you could make it as well, Blair, maybe next time.

I called the manager of BROOKFIELDS today and reserved the meeting room at the restaurant from 0630 to 0800 on Saturday the 30th.

It seats about 40. For anyone wishing to eat with us, tell the restaurant staff that you are with

THE NORCAL DIESELS

Blair, woulda been good to see ya, maybe next time! Thanks a bunch for passing it along to the Ramrunners. Take care

Big Jake, YOU DA MAN. Thanks bud.

There will probably be three of us from Oroville for breakfast then on to Ken's. I am thinking awfully hard about putting my bone stock 01 on the Dyno for a baseline run. I wonder if Ken is giving out the baby trophy again.

Sure will miss the action - but too long a drive from our new place here in eastern Oregon... And would also have been interesting to see what a few more miles and the Cerametallic LUK clutch would do to improve my dyno #'s... Oh well maybe there will be a corresponding event up here closer sometime...

Have a GREAT time guys - and don't show the Fords and GM stuff ANY mercy... (Except Jake, we all KNOW he's one of the GOOD guys!) :D :D

:{ Man, you guys always seem to get these things on the rare weekends when I have a Lodge function... .

Oh well, I haven't done anything to Godzilla since the last time I dynoed almost 2 years ago, so nothing new to see.

Have fun, all.

I have never been there before but I know about where it is. Is this a park down the street a ways kind of place, or is the parking available right at the business. I'm not worried about mine, but a friend just bought a new GMC Duramax and he won't park it 1/2 mile away.

Ron:

Imler Diesel is located at

2445 HARVARD STREET

SACRAMENTO

The shop backs up to the UP railroad tracks and is directly under the EL CAMINO AVE underpass just a few blocks west of BUSINESS I-80. Parking will be tight, but adequate.

Sounds cool i have,nt seen to many hopped up deisels in action. I will may try to make it to watch my trucks all stock . All i have is a Rip 4" and a AFE drop in filter so its not much to dyno . It would be nice to see what kind of power i have or at least know its running as good as stock specs. So do you take the Elcamino exit and go past Uhaul and Bugformance ?
