I have a good friend of mine right now with a transmission that wont go into any forward gears, Reverse works fine but nothing in any forward gear. I recomended him to go to a truck shop that I have seen some very well built trannys come from but his truck has been there for 23 days today! Plus he gave the guy 2 weeks notice before that!!! I know that J&H in Redding and Imlers in Sacramento but I have only really known them to do alot of good work with us Dodge guys. I put in a call to BTS, Suncoast, And DTT, BTS never called me back while SC and DTT said that it is a sealing ring that goes out in a certain clutch drum that looses forward gear pressure causing the problem. I think that our guy is stumped because the transmission looks PERFECT all apart on the bench. He also had a Ford transmission tech from a local dealer come in and look, They said its the pump? So then why does reverse work fine? Does J&H do trannys on the Ford's? or is there somewhere else in the Sac valley/Northern Cal that does good work to the Powerstroke trans? Thanks for the help guys!!
