I have testing to do so I hoped that some of you would would like to

stretch your trucks legs with me. What say?



Wednesdays at Sears Point are out. The best bet may be a Sat at Sac. They are

open from 10 - 3.



How about the 30th of this month? The next day would be the 7th of Dec.



Calling all diesel trucks, let's go! Ford, Chevy, whatever!

just checked the long term weather for next weekend, lets do something before the weather goes away, I am up for next saturday with a breakfast at Bradshaws beforehand.

I think I've got a dinner to attend on the 30th--on the 7th supposed to be pheasant and duck hunting, but that may change as the wife has overlaoded her calender and the griping has begun---which means things don't look good for me---anybody know of a super rich babe with lots of hunting land who likes to hunt and play diesel mechanic????? ... ... ... . chris

Lookin' For Quick Times

Chris, you don't want to miss this. I want new low times for this truck. We ran into a head wind at SRP which couldn't have been good. The new parts on the truck should provide new low times on #2. But then there is the matter of the two stage Nos system that we finished plumbing while in Texas. It's ready to test and after a couple diesel only runs we will be ready to shock the tires with the Nos system. This means 11 second times as long as we can keep the connector hoses on

I don't want to miss it--guaranteed, but with family things get, well tricky--I told the wif I was probably going to take the boys to the racetrack next Sat--she didn't say anything I think she didn't put the fact of racing on Sat with dinner on Sat--time will tell--dinner is at 6pm in San Rafael----chris

Well, the track closes at 3PM, and you can make it from Sacto to San Rafael in 3 hours

Bad News

I called the track today to check on the comment that was made regarding the lifted trucks. It seems they had a jacked up gasser take out the lights, jump the curb, smash through the fence and roll, and roll, and roll, and roll. The lifted trucks will only pass tech at the discretion of the tech inspector.



Those of you with lifted trucks need to plead your case. For instance, this is a diesel, how fast could it be!!! Heck, it'll hardly break the speed limit! So, you want me to put training wheels on it like those 1-tons?



But seriously, tell the tech guy what he needs to hear so he feels comfortable letting you in. It's his call. Tell him your fastest run was only 80mph. Freeway speed IOW.

Bummer... . Nowel, you should also post this on Diesel-Central, if you haven't already, so guys like SuperF350 and others with mega-lifts will be forewarned... .....

If it is a NHRA track crank height on an non-oem vehicle has to be a maximum of 24 inches. So if you are looking to run quicker than about a 13. 5 be prepared to have this rule pulled out on you. We cant run our truck at our local NHRA track anymore because running in the 11s with a crankheight of 30 inches is not allowed. Our suspension is stock other than traction bars in the back.

Time to build a faaaassssttttt 2wdr. Maybe even a chassis truck. The kind of power that we make if you lighten the truck to about 3900lbs you should see very low 10s maybe even 9s.

Racing Tomorrow!!!

OK ya rogues, let's get this back on track.



OK, everybody ready to go??? Turbochargers lubed, injectors pop-tested??? Tomorrow's the day!



Adam is going to meet me at the track and take the wheel.



Personally I'm looking for several things tomorrow:



-Any time lower then 12. 3 (a new best)

-Any 11 second time (wooohooo!)

-Any 11. 8 or better (24v truck record)

-No breakage!



Tomorrow we will turn the Nos system on after we get in a couple runs on fuel.



Everybody come out and watch the diesel trucks run.
