Setting a weight distribution hitch

Truck to camper wiring

looking for advice on troubleshooting/repairing the fridge in my 1991 TT. Ihave gas and the flame lights but won't stay on. Any ideas?

Another important piece of information usually required for diagnosis is whether the fridge works normally on 115 volt ac. Since you didn't mention electric mode operation I'll assume it is normal.



From just the info you provided my guess is the most likely cause of failure is a bad thermocouple. The thermocouple could possibly have a chunk of dirt/carbon buildup on the tip. That happened to my Dometic recently. Your problem could also be caused by a bad circuit board, faulty ground connection, or dirty/corroded terminal lugs on the various wires that connect to the module, ignitor, etc.

You could have a clogged orfice as a friend of mine recently had. His did the exact same thing as yours. He had his cleaned ($75) but I think you could do the same thing with a can of carburetor cleaner.

Yes, an excellent site for trouble shooting your absorption type fridge. They also have a forum where you can ask a question about your fridge and get an answer without trying to sell you parts you may or may not need.
