Hi out there,
My 01, 2x4 ,quad cab, long bed, auto with the dipstick probe ,3. 5 axle, Just wondering if I could compare transmission temps,
Normal cruising on the freeway without towing the trailer I'm running about 150. In slow moving traffic it could get up to 175 .
Warm weather or cold it's pretty much the same.
Pulling a trailer is hard to compare because of all the combinations but pulling my trailer which is 8,000 pounds my temp gauge will read about 175 and get to 200 or so in slow traffic but once up to speed it will come back down.
Do these reading sound pretty much normal ?
