normally-closed diesel transfer solenoid/valve?

hey guys... I've got this 91. 5 that has a Contico 110gal tank in the bed... the guy I got the truck from cut a hole in the bed and ran a hose/line from the fitting at the bottom of the tank and T'd it into the filler neck hose... he had a valve on there that he could trigger from in the cab in order to let the bed tank fill the main tank via gravity feed...



but he took the valve off of it and has it on his new truck.



anyone got a source for something like this?



I was figuring Grainger or McCar Master would/should, but I don't have a catalog here.

Forrest, Grainger has dozens of solenoid valves, problem is you need a catalog to match the valve you want to a 12v DC coil. http://www.grainger.com for a catalog. You might try Northern Tool also http://www.northern-online.com/

Just use the Grainger on-line catalog. The on-line version is much improved, I use it all the time for work. It has a pretty decent product search option and as long as you have Adobe reader on your computer, you can view each page.
