Hey Tom, hopefully your buddy with the Chevy diesel wasn't too upset. Pigpen started trash-talking 6. 5's when your buddy was standing right next to him and I saw him look over a couple of times as if to say "WTF?" I just shook my head and laughed.

Paul? i think he's alright. he has had great luck with his 6. 5 diesel though. it's straight piped so i couldn't/can't wait to hear it, but it was in the shop. paul has been looking at powerstrokes and cummins diesels to get in about a year so we can all try to push the bombing bug on him.
can't wait for the next meeting!
Tom

Here's an analogy for ya... . The Chevy diesels are kinda like the old MG sports cars. Both never made any real power... and some were not as reliable as they should have been, but they opened up people's eyes and put to market something that eventually would be fined tuned into greatness. Without the MG's... there would be no sports cars; without the early diesels... . who knows what kind of powerplant we'd be running in our trucks.

its a good thing that you know as much about those GM diesels as you do ( why you'd want to know that much about them is an issue for another thread).
