i could use it. . im in the middle of a brake driveline rebuild any how so the truck is down for a week or so any how... will this kdp jig work on a first gen?. . i herad there were two kinds. . one for 2nd gen and one for first gen??..... I'm in NY

KDP JIG

The one KDP jig works on all THREE generations.

On the first gens. , be sure the head of the screw is near flush with the housing as the fan mount is real close in that area.

If it hits the fan mount, you will have to grind the top edge of the screw head flush to the housing.

ok now i have not on this yet (obivously ha) but as with teh screw head your taking about what one is that? is it a screw that holds the kdp jig in place during drilling or is it a screw that you insert into the drilled hole to prevent the pin from wandering loose. in either case what size screw / bolt should i buy to do this? size length,pitch ,type of head etc. . to work with you flush with housing directions. . thanks sorry if im confused
