I'd like to know how many members we have in NE Wisconsin. Chime in and let me know. I've been thinking about a get together of somekind.

Hmm... I'm noticing a pattern with Matt and Hooters. ;)

Randy, there are a lot of us in the state (at least 60). PM me your email so I can see if it's up to date in the data base. I know some of the emails have been coming back since they were originally added. Some are outdated and others come back because Hotmail doesn't seem to like mass emails. We haven't been too active lately, although we did get together at Huckstorf Diesel and Great Lakes Dragaway in October.

I think a Hooter's meet sounds pretty good ;) Everything is in limbo right now with my job situation and possibly moving so don't know when I can make it:(

Hooters sounds good. It might be hard for this month, because of deer hunting and Thanksgiving. Should we try for early December? That will give Matt time to do some much needed research on the establishment. Maybe Nick could try and behave himself this time. I seem to remember he wanted a phone number of a certain waitress at Famous Dave's in LaCrosse. :D :D

No biggie - these next few months are usually quiet for the traditional diesel get-togethers. It gives our families time to see us before we disappear for the spring/summer. :-laf

The closest airport is the Dane County Regional Airport (The airport 'code' is MSN... . or Madison..... just like BOS is for Boston... . TPE for Taipei..... etc. ) Don't let the name fool you... . it's big enough to land a 727 or maybe bigger stuff too. It actually reminds me a lot of Worcester Airport.....

It's like a 30 minute drive from here if I take the non-downtown route. It always takes longer in a rental car - I'm always too busy jacking on the e-brake..... to lock up the rear tires around corners, scare old people, etc. :-laf

I've done the Boston > Chicago (O'Hare) > Madison route... . and the Boston > Milwaukee > Madison route. The latter involved a 15 seater turboprop pond jumper (1/2 hour flight... . no biggie).

The equipment you end up with on the last leg of the trip will depend largely on where you're stopping over... .

Come on out anytime. I specifically bought a sleeper sofa for folks to pass out on if they ever want to visit.
