Ohio Truck Ralley July 11th 2009

Planning on having a get together monthly or maybe twice a month. Was thinking about the Rochelle Area to split the difference between the likely participants. Rockelle is a little more than an hour for me.

Input ?

I like that idea. :D Are you thinking on having it on a Saturday or Sunday of the month? Time of day? Sat. AM would be iffy, depending on what I'm up to, and won't skip church on Sunday AM. Miss enough when in the field.

Rochelle is about 95 miles for me. It is doable.

Bryan, I was hoping you would jump in. I know you and a few others are up that way, like Jeff Bird is in Belvidere. I was thinking a week night in the evening so you guys could get out the field. But I am flexible.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I might make it if I am not trucking in the big truck :-laf any idea where to meet? restaurant? truck stop? Oo. Oo. Oo. :-laf

The petro truck stop is located off of I 39 EXIT 99 Good food at the IRON SKILLET restaurant that's in Rochelle il. You could also go up north so the northern folks do not always have be the ones to travel. :p I could bring a list if you would like to truck stops ect. you could invite folks from southern wi to come also. just a thought :D

I usually go to the Pilot across the street. But they don't have a good meeting place like the Iron Skillet. I have no issue moving around north/south/east/west. Just wanted to get together every once in a while.

Right now, Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights would work the best for me. Only have the Ram on the weekends, since I have been bringing the KW home. Busy hauling corn.

Starter is out on the Ford, too.

Count me in as long as im not on call for wrecker, and possibly even if i am. Our F-650 does have a HPCR cummins after all LOL

Sounds like something I could do especially since I just sold my boat and now I'm looking for other things to do to keep me busy. Altho Friday would be out for me.

Are we going to set a date, get all jazzed up on caffine, and do some burn outs in the Iron Skillet parking lot or what... ... ... . We might have to wait till it cools down a bit though Dennis says he dosent like working on his truck when its hot out.

First of all, Jeff you don't need any caffeine. An no I don't really like working on my truck when its too hot. However I somewhat finish it today. Still leaking like a sieve between the transmission and Tcase. Checked T case and level is full !. So, must be from the transmission.

Besides, my truck is too weak to do a burnout !!!
